Dr. Kyle Hopp
DPT, PT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Kyle grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts. He attended UMASS Lowell for both college and graduate school. Before entering the clinical field, he worked as a high school basketball coach. His clinical rotations included a sports physical therapy clinic, an orthopedic clinic, and an acute care hospital.
Dr. Kyle completed clinical rotations in a sports physical therapy clinic, an orthopedic clinic, and an acute care hospital. His experience spans treating patients from just two weeks old to 103 years old, working with individuals from hours post-operation to years into recovery. He has provided care to professional athletes, collegiate athletes, and weekend warriors. He has also volunteered in programs such as Rock Steady Boxing and iCanBike.
In his role, he blends his background in athletics with the experiences gained during his clinical rotations to focus on restoring function and promoting independence through personalized treatment plans and a patient-centered approach.
He especially enjoys treating ACL and meniscal tears, as well as ankle sprains.
Dr. Kyle likes working at WV Physical Therapy because of the staff, the patients, and the fun environment. He appreciates that everyone is allowed to be their quirky selves.

When he’s not working, he enjoys watching, playing, and coaching basketball, along with spending time on more technical hobbies he’s passionate about.
