Kate Galloway

New Patient Onboarding & Referral Specialist

Born and raised in Oregon, I have traveled up and down the West Coast from Washington to Arizona. Oregon was a fantastic place to grow up, go to school and raise a family. My husband and I have moved to New England to start our East Coast phase of life. I have been working in the office medical field for 20+ years learning everything I possibly could to help patients navigate their insurance and provide support to the providers I work with. Everything from front desk scheduling to insurance billing and referral and prior authorization coordination

I live my life constantly learning new things every day and embracing the changes that come at you on a daily basis.

“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” -Unknown

Being the new patient onboarding & referral specialist, I will schedule you into the office as a new patient or returning patient and make sure that we have the appropriate referral and prior authorizations needed to help make sure your insurance will cover the bulk of your care here at WV Physical Therapy. I will handle your insurance questions or concerns as they arise.

What I enjoy most about working at WV Physical Therapy is that in the first couple of months of working here I feel fully embraced as a part of the team and I fully enjoy the camaraderie of fun personalities.

Besides work, I balance my home life with spending life outdoors in my back yard at my grill or chasing my 2 corgis around the yard. I am also an Adult Fan of Lego (AFOL) and a proud member of the Women’s Brick Initiative, and I have an online store where I build and sell my own outside the box Lego creations.
